About the role
The Human Rights Officer position is based in Beirut, Lebanon, within the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa (ROMENA). The role supports the Regional Representative in advancing the UN's human‑rights mandate across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Work under the overall supervision of the Regional Representative and receive direct guidance from a senior Human Rights Officer at ROMENA.
Required profile
- Ability to operate within a UN regional office environment and follow supervisory directions.
