HR Support Officer – Lebanon

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an HR Support professional to assist the Human Resources function of its Lebanon Country Program. This position provides essential administrative and operational assistance to ensure smooth HR processes and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete, accurate, and up‑to‑date physical and electronic HR filing systems, including scanning and archiving documents per organizational standards.
• Compile and verify timesheets for all staff, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.
• Support contract validation processes, confirming that contracts are signed and compliant with internal procedures.
• Prepare staff ID cards, manage templates, and ensure consistency of information.
• Provide administrative support during internal and external audits by organizing required HR documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of staff data and records.
• Coordinate closely with HR Officers to deliver timely support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Management, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
• 1–2 years of prior experience in human resources.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong ability to prioritize work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
• Effective time‑management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, networking, and communication abilities.
