Health Program Coordinator – Lebanon (Beirut)

About the role

Relief International is seeking a Health Program Coordinator to lead the technical oversight, coordination and quality assurance of health activities across its primary health care centres and community structures in Beirut, Lebanon. Reporting to the Program Manager, the coordinator will ensure delivery of primary health care, maternal and child health, reproductive health, disease prevention, mental health and emergency response services while complying with Ministry of Public Health protocols and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of all health sector interventions in line with project objectives, donor requirements and MoPH/WHO standards.
• Ensure timely delivery of primary health care services, MNCH, reproductive health, communicable and non‑communicable disease programs, mental health and psychosocial support, community health activities and emergency health responses.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to field teams and supported PHCCs and PSUs.
• Integrate protection, safeguarding, gender, disability inclusion and accountability principles into all health activities.
• Maintain quality assurance systems, conduct supervisory visits, technical assessments and audits to identify gaps and strengthen service delivery.
• Monitor patient files, verify data and enforce quality control mechanisms.
• Assume temporary program management duties during maternity leave to ensure uninterrupted implementation.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in managing health programs in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong knowledge of primary health care, MNCH, reproductive health, disease prevention, mental health and emergency health response.
• Familiarity with Ministry of Public Health protocols, WHO standards and donor compliance requirements.
• Ability to supervise teams, conduct assessments and ensure quality assurance.
• Commitment to protection, gender, disability inclusion and accountability principles.
