Head of Social Impact & ESG Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Social Impact & ESG Strategy to shape and lead the impact agenda of a Lebanon‑based venture capital fund. You will design the fund’s impact thesis, build robust measurement systems, and ensure transparent reporting to investors and donors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the fund’s impact measurement and management (IMM) framework.
• Design Theory of Change models and KPI structures aligned with portfolio goals.
• Collect data, monitor performance, and analyse results to drive impact outcomes.
• Support ESG screening and due‑diligence processes for new investments.
• Implement impact reporting standards such as IRIS+ and GIIRS.
• Utilise CRM and data‑tracking tools to monitor portfolio impact plans and milestones.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and build strategic partnerships.
• Craft clear impact narratives and storytelling for external communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience in impact measurement and management (IMM).
• Expertise in Theory of Change development and KPI design.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with data‑driven decision making.
• Knowledge of ESG screening and due‑diligence methodologies.
• Experience with IRIS+, GIIRS, or similar impact reporting frameworks.
• Familiarity with CRM or data‑monitoring platforms.
• Strategic thinking and ability to drive portfolio‑wide impact execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
