GL SSC Team Lead – EMEA Shared Services

About the role

The GL SSC Team Lead will head the General Ledger team of the EMEA Shared Service Center based in Beirut. Reporting to the EMEA Record to Report Manager, you will drive transformation, continuous improvement and compliance across financial operations while meeting tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and develop team members, set performance expectations and provide coaching.
• Serve as the D365 expert, supporting system issues and coordinating testing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Identify automation opportunities, lead process‑optimization projects and support initiatives such as RPA, Onestream, PowerApps/Power Automate, PowerBI dashboards, M&A integration and ERP migrations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies and regulatory requirements; collaborate with audit teams and implement controls.
• Monitor GL KPI’s, oversee accurate journal entries, reconciliations, balance‑sheet reviews and monthly closing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting with strong IFRS knowledge.
• 2–3 years of experience in Record‑to‑Report or Shared Services environments.
• Demonstrated ownership, leadership and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Strong conflict‑resolution and diplomatic communication skills.
