Fundraising Director

About the role

OpenMinds Lebanon is seeking a senior Fundraising Director to lead its development strategy and expand philanthropic support across Lebanon and the region. Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, you will oversee major‑gift initiatives, donor cultivation, and revenue diversification to sustain the organization’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Define fundraising priorities with the VP for Advancement and create a comprehensive revenue‑generation plan.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of at least 250 prospects, targeting gifts up to $500,000 and beyond.
• Develop and execute the FY2027 fundraising plan, including donor acquisition, prospect research, and stewardship activities.
• Manage major‑gift donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and government funding sources.
• Support capital‑campaign planning and execution.
• Collaborate with the principal‑gifts team on high‑level donor engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in major‑gift fundraising and donor management within the nonprofit sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a large prospect portfolio and achieve multi‑year revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of grant, sponsorship, and corporate partnership models.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
