About the role
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a Financial Database and Reporting Systems Specialist to support the Lebanon Host Community Support Project – Phase 2. The consultancy is home‑based for a period of five months, with coordination meetings conducted remotely or in Beirut as required.
Key responsibilities
- Review the full Terms of Reference and provide technical input on financial database and reporting system requirements.
- Support the design, implementation and maintenance of financial databases used for project monitoring and reporting.
- Develop and refine reporting templates to ensure accurate and timely financial information for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project staff and municipal partners to align data collection processes with project objectives.
- Participate in remote coordination meetings and, when needed, attend in‑person sessions in Beirut.
Required profile
- National consultancy based in Lebanon, able to work remotely and travel to Beirut for meetings.
- Demonstrated experience in financial database management and reporting for development projects.
- Familiarity with UNDP financial procedures and donor reporting requirements.
