About the role
The Finance Officer will oversee the organization’s accounting and financial activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records and reports. This role supports cash‑flow management, prepares consolidated statements and provides analytical insights to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group.
- Analyze financial accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
- Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
- Assist with cash‑flow reports and deliver comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership and committees.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting or Finance; a Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with an auditing background.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA or CFA are a plus.
- Demonstrated ethical conduct, strong interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Lebanese regulatory requirements and tax regulations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience in financial modeling and financial reporting.
