Field Senior Manager – Beirut, Mount Lebanon & South

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a seasoned Field Senior Manager to lead its response operations across Beirut, Mount Lebanon and the South region. Reporting as the most senior field representative, you will ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality programming for displaced and vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day coordination of all program centers, shelters and field staff in the assigned area.
• Lead regular coordination meetings, track priorities, challenges and follow‑up actions.
• Support area‑based planning, access strategy, response planning and proposal development.
• Represent IRC with donors, partners, beneficiaries and community leaders.
• Oversee safety and security compliance in partnership with the Humanitarian Access and Security team.
• Accompany senior visits and donor delegations to field sites as required.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in emergency response and displaced‑population programming.
• Strong diplomatic skills to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to make timely decisions and escalate critical issues to senior management.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.
