Experienced Tax Preparer

About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers to join its franchise network. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, delivering high‑quality individual, trust, and partnership tax returns while providing exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Assist clients in gathering necessary documentation and answering tax‑related questions.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Utilize tax preparation software and PTIN registration tools.

Required profile

• Minimum of two tax seasons completing individual, trust, or partnership returns.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, client‑focused environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or related fields.
