Experienced Buyer – Home & Lifestyle

About the role

Cannon Home is seeking an experienced Buyer to lead product selection, assortment planning, supplier management, and inventory performance across its home and lifestyle categories. The role will support the brand’s expanding retail footprint in the Middle East and its e‑commerce platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end buying process for assigned categories, from selection and sourcing to ordering and delivery.
• Build and continuously optimise product assortments based on sales data, customer demand, market trends and business strategy.
• Source and develop new products and suppliers both locally and internationally.
• Attend international trade fairs, exhibitions and supplier meetings to identify new opportunities.
• Travel internationally as required for sourcing and supplier development.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quantities, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
• Analyse sales, margins, sell‑through, stock levels and inventory ageing to inform buying decisions.
• Identify slow‑moving items and recommend markdowns, promotions or other actions to improve turnover.
• Collaborate with retail, marketing, visual merchandising, design, production and operations teams on product launches and seasonal collections.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in buying, merchandising or category management.
• Strong background in home textiles, home accessories, furniture, lifestyle or fashion retail.
• Excellent commercial judgement and understanding of customer preferences, international market trends, pricing and sourcing.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and drive profitable assortment decisions.
