EECD Senior Implementation Manager

About the role

The EECD Senior Implementation Manager leads the overall implementation and operational management of IRC Lebanon’s Early Education and Child Development (EECD) programmes. Reporting to the EECD Coordinator, the role ensures projects stay on track with workplans, budgets, donor commitments and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead programme planning, workplan development and monitoring, identifying delays and implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee partner implementation, ensuring compliance with quality, reporting and operational requirements.
• Manage programme budgets, monitor burn rates, and ensure appropriate use of funds.
• Coordinate with finance, MEAL, grants, supply chain, HR and other support functions for effective project‑cycle management.
• Maintain regular coordination with government ministries, implementing partners and stakeholders to secure approvals and timely delivery.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in programme management and implementation in education‑ECD.
• Previous NGO/INGO experience and experience working with MEAL systems.
• Prior supervisory or team‑management experience.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, development studies or related field; Master’s degree is an asset.

• Strong organisational, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with indicator tracking and results‑based programme management.
