Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Le Gray Hotel is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all food and beverage outlets across the property. This senior role will shape the guest dining experience, drive financial performance, and ensure the highest standards of quality, service, cleanliness, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, lounges, kitchens, in‑room dining, banquets, catering, and experiential dining programs.
• Develop and implement concepts, menus, and service standards in partnership with culinary and service teams.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, revenue optimization, inventory, and purchasing while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Lead, train, and mentor F&B staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to support events, promotions, and guest feedback initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive Food & Beverage and food service expertise, preferably in luxury or upscale hotel settings.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction through elevated service standards.
• Strong experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue management within an F&B or hotel environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple outlets or venues.
• Excellent people‑management, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills with an inclusive leadership style.
• Highly organized, analytical, detail‑oriented, and hands‑on.
