About the role
The F&B Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, ordering and ensuring timely delivery of all food, beverage and kitchen supplies. This role supports the culinary and service teams by maintaining high quality standards while controlling costs.
Key responsibilities
- Source and purchase F&B items, consumables and kitchen equipment according to internal requisitions.
- Negotiate prices, terms and delivery conditions with suppliers and maintain approved vendor lists.
- Coordinate with storekeepers to monitor inventory levels, maintain par levels and trigger re‑orders.
- Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, expiration dates and compliance with specifications.
- Monitor purchasing budgets, report variances and suggest cost‑saving alternatives.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, returns and stock usage using procurement or ERP systems.
Required profile
- Proven experience in F&B purchasing or procurement (2+ years preferred).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Knowledge of perishables, storage, shelf‑life and food safety regulations (HACCP).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple SKUs.
- Fluent English communication skills.

- Oracle ERP platform.
