Director of Corporate Development

About the role

MultiLane is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to partner directly with the CEO in shaping and executing the group’s growth strategy. The role will drive new venture creation, manufacturing expansion, strategic partnerships, M&A and end‑to‑end project delivery from concept to launch.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities across manufacturing, industrial expansion, partnerships and market entry.
• Lead feasibility studies, including market analysis, investment sizing, operational requirements, financial returns and risk assessment.
• Prepare business cases, financial models, investment memoranda and executive presentations to support strategic decisions.
• Assess and support acquisitions, joint ventures, supplier agreements, customer nominations and commercial alliances.
• Coordinate execution of strategic projects, overseeing company setup, licensing, operational readiness, stakeholder alignment, timelines and progress reporting to the CEO.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate development, strategy, business development, investment, M&A, management consulting, manufacturing or industrial project management.
• Proven experience working directly with CEOs, board members or senior executives.
• Strong business acumen, financial modeling and valuation expertise, and solid understanding of manufacturing and industrial operations.
