Director of Alumni Relations

About the role

The Alumni Relations Office seeks a strategic leader to direct alumni engagement across Beirut and Byblos campuses. Reporting to the Vice President for Communication & Alumni Relations, the Director will shape programs that connect alumni with their alma mater, enhance lifelong learning, and support career development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy aligned with university goals.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative surveys to assess alumni needs and measure engagement.
• Oversee the University’s Connections program, facilitating alumni participation in events, guest lectures, and mentorship.
• Design and manage a volunteer program, including alumni chapters, committees, and mentoring initiatives.
• Promote alumni employability by linking career services, organizing networking events, and facilitating referrals.
• Collaborate with academic schools, Admissions, Career Services, Advancement, Registrar, Athletics, and other units to integrate alumni activities.
• Provide strategic support to senior leadership, recommending prominent alumni for development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in alumni relations, fundraising, or higher‑education engagement.
• Strong strategic planning and program‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage volunteer networks.
