DevOps Support Engineer – IS Operations (24/6 Shift)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Support Engineer to join a high‑impact IS Operations team at a leading fintech company in Beirut. This support‑focused position ensures that mission‑critical platforms, microservices and containerised workloads run smoothly for global managed services teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support in‑house platforms, microservices and containerised services running on AWS.
• Handle incidents, service requests and change tickets through an ITSM tool.
• Execute Saturday releases and ensure smooth hand‑over between shifts.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on recurring issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain and improve run‑books and knowledge‑base documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams during shift hand‑over to guarantee continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, DevOps support or systems operations.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, monitoring, basic troubleshooting).
• Working knowledge of core AWS services.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with ITSM platforms for incident, change and service request management.
• Basic awareness of CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Scripting skills in Bash or Python (a plus).
