Data Integrations Engineer (Azure)

About the role

The Associate Data Integration Engineer will design, develop, and maintain cloud‑based integration solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with application teams, data engineers, and architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance integration architectures that support Sucafina’s coffee supply‑chain operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid/Hub, and Functions.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable architectures with robust retry, error‑handling, dead‑lettering, and monitoring patterns.
• Develop stateful and stateless integration workflows, synchronous and asynchronous messaging patterns, and APIs/connectors for internal and external systems.
• Create CI/CD pipelines for integration components using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
• Configure queues, topics, subscriptions, and DLQ handling; ensure message security, idempotency, and guaranteed delivery.
• Publish, secure, and monitor APIs via Azure API Management, applying policies such as rate limiting, caching, transformation, and authentication.
• Implement observability with Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor; set up alerts and troubleshoot performance or failure issues.
