Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

You will build AI features end‑to‑end, from the model that generates decisions to the service that runs them and the product surface where revenue managers act on the insights. This position bridges research‑grade models and production application development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop forecasting and rate‑recommendation logic for the auto‑publish engine, including guardrails to respect property tolerances.
• Create LLM‑driven features such as natural‑language explanations of rate changes, conversational performance queries, and automated market commentary.
• Build rate‑intelligence pipelines that ingest competitor rates, clean messy third‑party data, and generate trustworthy signals for models.
• Implement evaluation harnesses and monitoring to detect model degradation before it impacts customers.
• Design and maintain the full‑stack surface—APIs, data models, and UI—that exposes these capabilities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience building and shipping production software with meaningful AI/ML components.
• Strong Python skills and comfort with TypeScript/JavaScript for the application layer.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI or similar), including prompt design, structured output, tool use, retrieval and evaluation.
• Solid SQL knowledge and data‑modeling ability to write efficient queries.
• Experience with at least one of: time‑series forecasting, pricing/optimization models, or recommendation systems.
• Ability to work with messy, incomplete real‑world data from third‑party feeds.
• Cloud deployment experience and familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines.
