Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to design, develop and optimise enterprise data‑warehouse solutions for Monty Holding. The role involves building scalable data models, creating high‑performance SQL/PLSQL code and supporting business‑intelligence and reporting needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise data‑warehouse solutions and data marts.
• Write and optimise complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and packages.
• Create logical and physical data models aligned with business and analytical requirements.
• Analyse database performance, optimise indexing strategies and ensure scalability.
• Maintain data quality, integrity, consistency and governance across platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers and analytics teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets.
• Troubleshoot database issues, data discrepancies and ETL failures.
• Document database designs, data flows, ETL processes and technical specifications.
• Stay updated on emerging data‑warehousing technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data warehousing and ETL development.
• Strong understanding of data‑warehousing concepts, star and snowflake schemas.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Data modelling (star schema, snowflake schema).
• ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques.
• Experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Query optimisation and database performance tuning.
• Familiarity with modern OLAP platforms (ClickHouse, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Knowledge of BI/reporting tools (a plus).
• Python programming (advantage).
