Customer Development Operations Specialist

You will drive operational excellence, enable seamless execution across Customer Development teams, and transform data into actionable insights that support growth and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and consolidation of monthly commercial and trade‑marketing plans across markets and distributor partners.
• Drive promotional forecasting, trade‑investment planning and volume alignment to meet business growth objectives.
• Plan, execute and track shopper‑marketing activations and customer promotions, ensuring strong in‑market execution and ROI.
• Manage customer mapping, target deployment, route‑to‑market and Perfect Store/MSL data to boost field‑sales effectiveness.
• Transform commercial, distributor and market data into actionable insights, develop sales, stock, pricing and trade‑investment reporting, and identify opportunities and risks.
• Champion operational excellence through process simplification, automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives across Customer Development teams.
• Support leadership decision‑making with business reviews, performance storytelling and strategic presentations while ensuring compliance and governance.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build internal and external networks.
• People‑management or leadership experience.
• Proactive approach with a keen sense of reading market opportunities.
• 2‑3 years of experience in Customer Development within the FMCG sector.
• Preferred: hands‑on selling and customer handling experience in both GT and MT, and trade‑marketing experience.
