Custom Clearance Executive

About the role

The Custom Clearance Executive oversees the complete customs clearance process for both import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Based in Antelias, the role works closely with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams to facilitate smooth cargo movement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit all required customs documentation for shipments.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, port authorities, and government agencies to resolve clearance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of customs filings and shipment status.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal procedures accordingly.
• Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Prior experience working with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
• Relevant education in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
