Contracts Engineer – Beirut, Lebanon

About the role

The Contracts Engineer will oversee the full lifecycle of EPC contracts for projects based in Beirut. Working closely with legal, procurement, finance and project teams, the role ensures contractual compliance, risk mitigation and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, review and manage contracts from inception to close‑out, guaranteeing alignment with company policies and client requirements.
• Support contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors and vendors, identifying risks and proposing mitigation measures.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for audits, claims and dispute resolution, including variations, change orders and claims.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure contract terms meet operational and financial objectives.
• Monitor regulatory and legal developments in EPC contracting, ensuring adherence to local and international standards.
• Prepare regular reports on contract performance, risks and compliance for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of contract administration experience within EPC, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, EPC/EPCM and subcontractor agreements.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

• Advanced use of the MS Office Suite.
