Contract Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the contractual and commercial management of construction projects throughout their lifecycle. You will ensure that all contract obligations are met while protecting the company’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, negotiate and administer client contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Oversee contractual correspondence, ensuring timely notifications and proper record‑keeping.
• Manage subcontract agreements, monitor compliance and resolve contractual issues.
• Lead the preparation, assessment and negotiation of variation orders, claims and commercial entitlements.
• Identify contractual risks, recommend mitigation strategies and support dispute avoidance.
• Develop and maintain contract registers, risk registers and status reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Procurement, Legal, Finance and other cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in contract administration and commercial management within construction.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk management and claim processes.
