Compensation & Benefits Manager

About the role

The Compensation & Benefits Manager oversees payroll, benefits administration, and statutory compliance, ensuring accurate payment cycles and alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. This role leads salary benchmarking, develops competitive compensation structures, and manages the annual compensation and benefits budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pay structures, salary scales, and benefits schemes, and lead market salary benchmarking exercises.
• Forecast, monitor, and control the annual compensation and benefits budget across all divisions.
• Manage employee benefits programs, coordinate with insurance providers, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Oversee the monthly payroll process, validate inputs, and ensure timely, accurate salary calculations.
• Administer NSSF registration, contributions, and compliance with Lebanese regulations.
• Handle employee income tax calculations, withholding, and reporting in line with Ministry of Finance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor C&B policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Review and optimize C&B workflows, promote automation, and create reporting tools for cost monitoring.
• Prepare periodic reports on payroll costs, headcount, compensation trends, and benefits expenses.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records and reconciliations.
