Compensation & Benefits Manager

About the role

La Sagesse University is looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to join its Office of Human Resources. Reporting to the HR Director, you will lead the design, implementation and oversight of the university’s compensation, benefits and payroll processes, ensuring they are fair, competitive and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain salary structures, grading systems and job evaluation frameworks.
• Conduct market salary benchmarking and lead salary review cycles.
• Manage the end‑to‑end monthly payroll for academic and administrative staff, validating attendance, overtime, allowances and deductions.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Lebanese Labor Law, NSSF requirements and university policies.
• Reconcile payroll with Finance, prepare end‑of‑service calculations and final settlements.
• Produce compensation reports, payroll analytics and dashboards for leadership decision‑making.
• Support HR digitalisation initiatives using HR systems and data‑analytics tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in compensation & benefits administration and payroll execution.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese Labor Law, NSSF regulations and payroll practices.
• Excellent analytical abilities, high integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
