Client Service Associate

About the role

Jackson Hewitt is seeking a friendly, customer‑focused individual to be the first point of contact for clients visiting its offices. The Client Service Associate will ensure a welcoming environment, support client needs, and help drive a positive experience throughout the tax‑preparation process.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients in person, confirming appointments and answering questions.
• Follow up with past and potential clients to maintain relationships.
• Distribute marketing materials and keep clients informed while they wait.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of computer systems used in the office.
• Support the overall flow of the office to ensure efficient service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast‑paced retail or customer‑service environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a client‑focused role.
• Prior customer‑service or sales experience preferred, but not required.
