Civil Engineer – Infrastructure Projects in Angola

About the role

Codimex Group is looking for a qualified Civil Engineer to join its infrastructure team in Angola. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the design, review and implementation of roads, drainage, utilities and other civil works while ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review civil engineering plans for roads, storm‑water systems, utilities and related infrastructure.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications and detailed reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, local authorities and external stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits, monitor progress and ensure quality, safety and environmental standards are met.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting and scheduling activities.
• Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams and propose engineering solutions to challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary civil engineering teams on infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of storm‑water management, drainage design and flood mitigation.
• Familiarity with international and local construction codes and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
