Chef – Staff Cafeteria (Lebanese Cuisine)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef to lead the kitchen operations for our staff cafeteria, serving approximately 100 employees daily. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, nutritious meals while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for 100 staff members each day.
• Monitor food quality, taste, and portion control to ensure consistency.
• Develop weekly and monthly meal plans and create varied menus that provide balanced nutrition.
• Estimate food requirements, compile ingredient lists, and manage inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, including regular cleaning of equipment and storage areas.
• Supervise kitchen assistants, cooks, and cleaners.
• Keep accurate records of food consumption, inventory, and purchases.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hospitality.
• 6‑8 years of experience as a chef, preferably in catering, camp, or staff cafeteria settings.
• Experience cooking for large groups, especially Lebanese cuisine.
• Fluent in English.
