CEO – Textile & Agricultural Processing Business

About the role

Our client, a regional group operating across the Levant, is seeking a visionary CEO to launch and run a new vertically‑integrated textile and agricultural processing business based in Beirut. This founding leadership position will take the venture from feasibility studies through to full commercial operations, shaping its strategy, vision and execution from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the initial feasibility study and define the business case.
• Design and establish agricultural sourcing and processing facilities across the region.
• Develop a complete vertical‑integration roadmap from raw material acquisition to finished product.
• Build, recruit and manage the senior leadership team.
• Maintain and grow relationships with government bodies, farming communities and commercial partners.
• Identify and secure off‑take partners for the finished output.
• Position the company for long‑term regional growth and profitability.

Required profile

• At least 15 years of experience in textile manufacturing or agri‑industrial operations, with deep knowledge of the full value chain.
• Proven track record of launching greenfield or startup operations, including feasibility studies and facility set‑up.
• Strong CEO‑level leadership with full P&L responsibility.
• Comfort operating in frontier or high‑growth emerging markets.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills across government, farming communities and commercial partners.
