About the role

As a Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR) you will be the first point of contact for childcare centers, daycares and preschools. You will generate interest in Aspire Software’s Hazel platform, qualify prospects and schedule demos for the Account Executive team.

Key responsibilities

  • Make outbound cold calls (target 100+ dials per day) to childcare facilities and introduce Hazel.
  • Qualify leads based on size, locations, call volume and pain points related to missed calls and tour bookings.
  • Book 5‑10 demos per week and ensure smooth hand‑offs with detailed notes.
  • Execute multi‑channel outreach, pairing calls with personalized emails and follow‑ups.
  • Handle objections and reframe the conversation around the cost of missed enrollments.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, logging every call, outcome and next step in real time.
  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified demos booked and held.
  • Provide feedback on scripts, objections and messaging to improve team performance.

Required profile

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, SDR/BDR, telemarketing, recruiting or any high‑volume phone role.
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone, thinking on your feet and handling rejection.
  • Resilient, self‑motivated and able to manage a high dial count without supervision.
  • Clear, persuasive communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Organized and able to manage a pipeline, follow up promptly and keep detailed notes.
  • Coach‑able and eager to act on feedback quickly.
