Business Development Manager – Property & Casualty

About the role

Chedid Capital, a leading insurance and reinsurance investment group operating across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Property and Casualty division. The role will drive the company’s growth strategy by identifying new market opportunities, building commercial pipelines and strengthening client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to uncover new business opportunities and develop growth channels.
• Lead the preparation of high‑value commercial proposals, respond to RFPs and negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
• Prospect and acquire new corporate clients through targeted networking while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients and insurance partners.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and operations teams to ensure tailored and efficient client service.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the business development team to meet KPIs and growth targets.
• Monitor, analyse and report key performance indicators and sales pipeline progress.
• Prepare and present commercial performance reports to senior management and executive stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably a Master’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance or brokerage, with exposure to the African market preferred.
• Fluency in French, English and Arabic.
