Business Application Specialist

About the role

Chedid Capital, a leading financial holding company in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, is seeking a French‑speaking Business Application Specialist. You will support the IT department and all business units by maintaining and enhancing enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, identify issues and propose solutions aligned with strategy.
• Support, maintain and troubleshoot WinDev applications, including programming and report generation.
• Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of new applications and system enhancements.
• Gather requirements, conduct gap analysis and collaborate with departments to design effective solutions.
• Perform testing (UAT, performance, regression, integration) and prepare documentation.
• Provide technical support and resolve problems across all business units, including extended‑hour assistance when needed.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and escalate issues as required.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design and deliver updates and improvements.
• Stay current on technical trends, best practices and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in a similar business‑application role.
• Fluent French (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Experience with WinDev is a strong plus; knowledge of VB.NET or Python is valuable.
• Solid knowledge of SQL.
