Backend Django REST API Developer

About the role

The company is looking for a Backend Django REST API Developer to design, build and maintain high‑quality RESTful services. You will work closely with frontend engineers and product stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable backend solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
• Design, optimize, and manage relational database schemas.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested Python code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product owners.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Familiarity with Git version control and testing frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
• Experience with Docker, Redis, and Celery for asynchronous processing.
• Exposure to modern CI/CD workflows.
