Backend Developer - Global Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to build the execution infrastructure behind StreamLnk, a platform that orchestrates global trade operations across logistics, supply chain, payments, and industrial commerce. You will work on a modern TypeScript stack and help shape the operational layer that powers industrial suppliers, carriers, warehouses, customs partners, and buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end features including APIs, services, integrations, data models, and background jobs.
• Orchestrate orders, freight missions, custody events, and invoicing through event‑driven services.
• Integrate with external systems such as payment gateways, tax engines, and ERP platforms.
• Write comprehensive Jest unit and integration tests for critical flows.
• Collaborate daily with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) as part of the development workflow.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of backend development experience (junior to mid‑level).
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript and Node.js; experience with NestJS or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL, REST, GraphQL, and basic event‑driven architecture.
• Proficient in writing Jest tests and treating testing as part of “done”.
• Curious about service architecture, modular design, and automation.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously in a fast‑moving startup.
