Awards Management Coordinator

About the role

The Awards Management Coordinator supports the Awards Manager in overseeing humanitarian and development awards from inception to closeout. The role ensures compliance with donor requirements, internal policies, and delivers high‑quality financial and narrative reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate award information across departments and maintain data quality in the Award Management System.
• Prepare and submit financial and narrative reports to donors such as UNICEF, LHF, ECHO, SDC, BMZ.
• Support capacity‑building trainings for country‑office staff and partner organisations on donor compliance and reporting.
• Build relationships with Programme Development & Quality, Operations, Finance and the Global Team to resolve issues and ensure timely deliverables.
• Communicate directly with in‑country donors on agreements, amendments, compliance and close‑out processes.
• Monitor and analyse award performance, recommend improvements, and assist during major humanitarian emergencies.

Required profile

• Experience in award or grant management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, financial reporting and narrative reporting requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and adapt to emergency situations.
• Level 3 child safeguarding clearance, with regular contact with children or young people.
