Audiovisual Content Creator – Strategic Communications

About the role

The Strategic Communications Department at the Lebanese American University seeks an Audiovisual Content Creator to design and deliver high‑impact multimedia assets that support enrollment, fundraising, and brand initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Creative Services, you will work primarily from the Beirut campus, with occasional travel to Byblos.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, and produce video, photography, and animation for campaigns and digital channels.
• Manage the full video production cycle: synopsis, mood‑boarding, filming, editing, graphics, sound, and final delivery.
• Maintain a well‑organized multimedia archive, tagging and archiving all assets for easy retrieval.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, web developers, and social media teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
• Coordinate with external vendors (photographers, videographers, animators) and supervise outsourced projects.
• Conduct ad‑hoc footage searches and provide curated selections for internal requests.
• Oversee equipment upkeep, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, audiovisual arts, filmmaking, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in a production house or agency environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high‑quality video, photography, and animation work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard video editing software.
• Camera operation and lighting techniques.
• Photography and basic animation skills.
