Architectural & Civil Draftsman

About the role

EBCO(BITAR) is looking for a skilled Draftsman with strong experience in both architectural and civil drafting. The role involves producing accurate technical, shop and as‑built drawings that support design, tendering and construction across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural and civil drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) using AutoCAD and related software.
• Develop shop, working and construction detail drawings for site execution.
• Update as‑built drawings to reflect site changes.
• Coordinate drawings across architectural, civil, structural and MEP disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Assist with quantity take‑offs and material schedules.
• Incorporate site measurements into drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision logs and organized documentation.
• Collaborate with site engineers, project managers and consultants to resolve discrepancies.
• Support preparation of tender and submittal drawings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Architectural/Civil Drafting, Architecture or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of drafting experience in construction, engineering or contracting.
• Strong understanding of drawing standards, construction detailing and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
