Architect – Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architect with strong Quantity Surveying expertise to join our consultancy team. The successful candidate will lead cost control activities for architectural packages on high‑value construction projects, ensuring financial accuracy and contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documentation for architectural works.
• Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents to identify cost implications.
• Manage variations, change orders and produce regular cost reports.
• Perform site measurements, valuations and support procurement and tender evaluations.
• Monitor project budgets, provide accurate financial updates and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in consultancy.
• Proven experience on high‑value construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of cost management and contractual procedures.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• MRICS membership is preferred.
