Arabic Linguistics Editor

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Arabic Linguistics Editor to review, edit and enhance Arabic educational textbooks. The position involves proofreading, content development, research and close collaboration with designers and illustrators to deliver high‑quality learning materials.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread Arabic textbooks, correcting linguistic errors such as tahrik nas and kawaaed.
• Rewrite specific sections to improve clarity and accuracy.
• Research new content and integrate it into existing material.
• Collaborate with other editors, graphic designers and illustrators on project deliverables.
• Use Adobe Acrobat for document review and markup.

Required profile

• Degree in Arabic language or a related field.
• Computer literate with proven teaching experience; experience in exam preparation is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and work well in a team.
• Creative problem‑solving and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Arabic language editing.
• Adobe Acrobat for document editing and annotation.
