Full‑Time Interior Design Faculty (Assistant/Associate Professor)

About the role

The School of Architecture & Design at the Lebanese American University invites applications for a full‑time faculty position in Interior Design at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, starting Fall 2027. The appointment may be on a tenure‑track or non‑tenure‑track basis, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and career trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Teach interior design studios at intermediate and senior levels, as well as theoretical or technical courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.
• Contribute to curriculum development, student mentorship, and academic advising.
• Play an active role in program development and the initiation of academic activities.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and academic events.

Required profile

• Minimum of a master’s degree in Interior Design.
• At least three years of university‑level teaching experience.
• Portfolio of professional interior design work.
• Scholarly publications in design are a plus.
