Arabic Copywriter – MENA

About the role

AKQA is looking for an Arabic Copywriter to shape ideas through language across the MENA region. You will create culturally resonant copy that feels native from the start, working on campaigns, products, experiences and more.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original Arabic copy in Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects for brand platforms, film scripts, case studies, product stories and social headlines.
• Inject regional insights, behaviours and cultural nuances into every piece of work.
• Collaborate with strategists, technologists, designers and other creatives to turn ideas into multi‑channel experiences.
• Iterate rapidly, refining and elevating copy to meet high creative standards.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to explore new storytelling formats.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of Arabic tone, rhythm and cultural context.
• Ability to think beyond translation and create work that feels native.
• Strong storytelling instincts that work across film, social, product and PR.
• Comfort with fast‑paced environments, late pivots and bold briefs.

Required skills

• Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic and at least one regional dialect.
• Excellent copywriting and editing abilities.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted content creation tools.
