Accounting Manager – Head Office (Beirut)

About the role

The Accounting Manager will lead the Group's accounting function from the head office in Beirut, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with local and international standards. Working closely with the Group CFO, the role supports both operational and strategic financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Direct daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory and payroll coordination.
• Maintain project accounting structures, track costs versus budgets, and ensure proper cost allocation and revenue recognition.
• Manage and optimise Microsoft Dynamics (NAV/Business Central) ERP, including chart of accounts, project coding and workflow improvements.
• Monitor cash positions, manage banking relationships, letters of credit, guarantees and working‑capital financing.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the accounting team while driving process improvements and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting management, preferably in a multi‑entity, project‑based environment.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proven ability to work closely with senior finance leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising accounting staff.
