Accountant

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling a wide range of accounting activities while developing your professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Review accounting records for accuracy and completeness in line with standards and company procedures.
• Support month‑end closing by posting entries, valuing inventory, reconciling accounts and verifying gross margins.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
• Check invoices, supporting documents and ledgers for correct classification and suggest process improvements.
• Monitor VAT, social security contributions, withholding tax and other tax filings to ensure compliance.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting documentation according to internal controls.
• Identify accounting errors or process weaknesses, coordinate with relevant teams and drive timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to guarantee accurate data entry and timely submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and a professional attitude toward diverse colleagues.
• Fluency in Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data handling).
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP (plus).
