Accountant

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work in a fast‑paced, structured environment, handling a broad range of accounting activities while developing key financial skills.

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records in line with standards and company procedures.
• Support month‑end closing by completing required entries, inventory valuations, reconciliations and gross‑margin verification.
• Perform intercompany, bank and cash reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and maintain proper documentation.
• Validate invoices, supporting documents and ledger entries, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Monitor VAT, social security contributions, withholding tax and other tax filings to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation according to internal controls.
• Proactively identify errors or weaknesses, coordinate with relevant teams and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with local accounting teams and other departments to guarantee accurate data entry and timely submission.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and month‑end closing procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with diverse colleagues.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and data handling.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP solutions (a plus).
