Accountant

About the role

CIS Group, an ICT company based in Jal El Dib, is seeking an ambitious and motivated Accountant to join its dynamic accounting team. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop key financial skills, and have opportunities for growth within the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards.
• Participate in month‑end closing, including journal entries, inventory variations and reconciliations.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve differences.
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Handle petty cash and employee expense reports with proper documentation.
• Support VAT, NSSF and tax declarations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for management and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with NSSF and tax declarations is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data handling).
• Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP.
