Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

As an Accountant at SARA Group you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting decision‑making through detailed analysis and reporting. You will work closely with internal teams to maintain financial integrity and compliance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Conduct financial analysis, review profit and loss discrepancies, and produce variance reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve balance‑sheet discrepancies.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including regional and corporate allocations.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets and profit & loss reports.
• Process payroll transactions and oversee payroll reconciliations.
• Develop and monitor accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Professional qualification preferred (CA, CPA, or ACCA).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a trading business environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
