About the role
BSSConnects is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive customer relationships and revenue growth across African markets. You will be the primary interface for telecom operators and enterprise clients, promoting our BSS, OSS, Cloud, and Digital Transformation solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with CXO‑level decision makers.
- Drive cross‑sell and up‑sell initiatives within existing accounts.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract closure.
- Collaborate with presales, solution architecture, and delivery teams to craft value‑driven proposals.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and documentation.
- Act as the single point of contact for customer communication and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular business reviews and provide market intelligence to inform product strategy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of account management or sales experience in telecom, ICT, or enterprise software.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Experience working with African telecom operators or system integrators.
- Fluency in French and willingness to travel extensively across Africa.
