Travel Consultant & Sales Executive

About the role

Hassoun Travel is seeking a motivated Travel Consultant & Sales Executive to join its Ghazieh office. You will guide clients through the entire travel journey, from the first inquiry to post‑travel support, delivering personalized service and driving sales.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries via WhatsApp, phone, email, social media and walk‑ins.
• Search, quote, book and manage airline reservations using GDS systems.
• Issue, re‑issue, cancel and refund tickets while adhering to airline fare rules.
• Book hotels, transfers, tours, travel insurance and other services.
• Create customized holiday and honeymoon packages tailored to client budgets.
• Prepare professional quotations and detailed itineraries.
• Assist clients with visa requirements and travel documentation.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels, DMCs and other suppliers.
• Follow up on leads, convert inquiries into confirmed bookings and upsell relevant services.
• Handle corporate travel requests, booking changes, disruptions and customer issues.
• Maintain accurate client and reservation records and stay updated on industry regulations.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a travel agency or related reservation/ticketing role.
• Strong sales orientation and excellent customer‑service mindset.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of Amadeus GDS (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Sabre GDS (advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office applications.
• Effective internet research abilities for travel information.
