Tendering Engineer

About the role

The Tendering Engineer will lead the design and tendering of on‑grid and off‑grid photovoltaic projects for ECOsys, a provider of renewable energy solutions. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to translate site requirements into complete, cost‑effective solar installations.

Key responsibilities

• Design turnkey PV systems for both on‑grid and off‑grid applications.
• Determine system configurations based on customer needs, site conditions and structural constraints.
• Perform shade, orientation and solar access analyses to optimise layout and efficiency.
• Define installation methods, including electrical configuration, string sizing, inverter and battery selection, cabling and mounting structures.
• Program and configure inverters and control systems to achieve required operating modes.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, safety and quality plans, and detailed installation schedules.
• Develop commercial offers, feasibility studies and financial analyses.
• Support the technical team during installation and ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Monitor system performance and carry out post‑installation analysis.

Required profile

• Experience in photovoltaic system design and tender preparation.
• Ability to work on‑site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
